Twitter Users Were Suspended for Sharing QAnon Conspiracy Theories Now Being Spread by Congress and the United States Armed Forces

More than 70,000 conservatives suspended after Jan 6th for discussing racist QAnon conspiracy theories that China could use American's DNA to build genetic bio-weapons. We now learn it was true.

More than 70,000 conservatives were purged from Twitter after Jan 6th for sharing racist QAnon conspiracy theories including one that China was accumulating the DNA of every American in order to make bio-weapons that could target a specific person. Fast forward to July 2022 and members of Congress and military commanders openly warned world leaders that China had the capability of deploying bio-weapons that targeted the DNA of entire races, specific individuals, or even the food supply.

The FBI, with the help of Big Tech, has been monitoring ā€œconspiracy theory-driven domestic extremistsā€ designating QAnon as an existential domestic extremist threat. Shockingly we now know that QAnon conspiracy theories are being discussed in the House and Senate Armed Services Committees and the Intelligence Committees. On Friday Democratic Representative Jason Crow (a member of both House committees) repeated QAnon conspiracy theories with his fellow Aspen Security Forum attendees including CIA Director William Burns, MI6 Spy Chief William Burns, Fiona Hill now with Brookings, Victoria Nuland from the State Department, and perhaps most uncomfortably with Qin Gang the Chinese Ambassador.

Rep Crow explained that China has the capability of taking someone’s DNA and using it to build a bio-weapon that is designed to kill just them. He even warned Google’s President of Global Affairs, Kent Walker, that he shouldn’t provide his DNA to Sergey Brin’s wife’s company 23andMe as the Chinese could use it to build a bio-weapon to target him. He also warned Benny Gantz, Israel’s Defense Minister, that China could create an ethnic bio-weapon to target Ashkenazim Jews echoing QAnon conspiracy theories referred to as "blood libel" in the media.

Twitter exploded with a discussion of the QAnon conspiracy theory in tweets like this:

Rep Crow casually shared the QAnon conspiracy theory as DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who has issued warnings about QAnon conspiracy theory-driven extremists, sat silently, "We have to have an open and public discussion about... what the protection of healthcare information, DNA information, and your data look like because that data is actually going to be procured and collected by our adversaries for the development of these systems.ā€

Perhaps more worrisome is the fact the QAnon conspiracy theories are finding their way into the Senate’s Armed Service Committee as well. Senator Joni Ernst doubled down on Rep Crow’s claims explaining to the former Executive Director of the UN Food Program, Ertharin Cousin, that China could use DNA bio-weapons to target America’s food supplies on a devastatingly vast scale resulting in mass starvation across the country. She explained, ā€œFood insecurity drives a lot of other insecurities around the globe. There's a number of ways we can look at biological weapons and the need to make sure not only are we securing human beings, but then also the food that will sustain us.ā€

Senator Marco Rubio previously revealed that China was collecting the DNA of Americans as a result of processing DNA tests under contract with Medicare and Medicaid stating, ā€œIt is ridiculous that our current policies enable the Chinese Communist Party to access Americans' genomic data. There is absolutely no reason that Beijing, which routinely seeks to undermine US national security, should be handed the genomic data of American citizens.ā€

Finally, it should be no surprise that QAnon theories have infiltrated the US military. The head of America’s Special Operations Command, General Richard Clark, shared with the ambassadors of Kenya and Singapore and ministers from Poland and Bahrain that Russia has been using less-sophisticated versions of China’s bio-weapons for years. He shared the story of Russia using targeted poisons in an attempt to kill Sergei Skripal and his daughter.

At the end of the day, I hope it is clear I’m making a point. Big Tech is using nebulous labels like QAnon as justification for permanently suspending users. Conservatives discussing DNA bioweapons on Twitter have been labeled ā€œQAnonā€ believers and suspended. Just after January 6th Twitter stepped up enforcement and targeted hashtags and stories they associated with QAnon and permanently suspended 70,000 conservative accounts.1 I personally know MANY of the people who were suspended in the ā€˜QAnon Purge’ and most had no idea what QAnon was or how to figure out what topics were considered by Twitter as ā€œharmful QAnon-associated contentā€. The mainstream media claims that Justice Thomas’ wife is a QAnon adherent.

Twitter’s various nebulous policies banning ā€˜QAnon-Associated Content’ and content that undermines ā€˜Civic Integrity’ can be used to suppress and silence anyone but at Twitter, they are actively being employed to silence millions of conservative voices. It is time for Twitter to restore sanity to the platform and allow the millions of conservatives that have been deplatformed to return.2 3 4 5 6
