PREDICTION: Trump won't be arrested Tuesday
By Alexander Muse ·
Prediction markets estimate there is a 70-90% President Trump will be arrested tomorrow—I think they’re dead wrong. Unless Trump has a secret deal with Manhattan’s district attorney to arrest him (and I don’t) arresting the former president would be the biggest mistake Democrats have made since electing Joe Biden.
Last Sunday NBC began dropping hints they had sources inside the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office that were saying an indictment of former President Trump was imminent.1 Soon it was clear Bragg’s communication team was leaking details of the indictment and their coordination with the Secret Service in preparation for Trump’s arrest as soon as this week. With the prospect of the historic arrest of a former president in the news for an entire week, President Trump finally commented on Saturday stating:2
“Our nation is now third-world and dying. The American Dream is dead! The radical left anarchists have stolen our presidential election, and with it, the heart of our country. American patriots are being arrested and held in captivity like animals, while criminals and leftist thugs are allowed to roam the streets, killing and burning with no retribution. Millions are flooding through our open borders, many from prisons and mental institutions. Crime and inflation are destroying our very way of life...
Now illegal leaks from a corrupt and highly political Manhattan District Attorney's office, which has allowed new records to be set in violent crime and whose leader is funded by George Soros, indicate that, with no crime being able to be proven and based on an old and fully debunked (by numerous other prosecutors!) fairytale, the far and away leading Republican candidate and former President of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take our nation back!” ~ Donald J. Trump
Almost immediately after Trump commented on leaks by the DA that the former president would be arrested on Tuesday NBC began claiming that Trump was lying—that there was no evidence that he would be arrested. On queue, Bragg announced that his office would not be intimidated by Trump and claimed the former president was inciting violence against him and his staff.3
What do you think? Will Trump be arrested tomorrow?
